TYCO Deer Mineral:

  • The result of decades of experience and research in feeding whitetail deer.
  • Formulated to complement the changing nutritional requirement of deer throughout the different seasons, and takes into account the variation of feeds available – including both natural habitat and food plots.
  • Unique among mineral supplements in that it does not use any salt to drive consumption.
  • Uses a selection of very palatable feed ingredients, mineral sources and apple flavor to maximize intake and nutrient availability.
  • Manufactured on-site at Tyrone Milling using only the highest quality minerals
  • 5 lbs in resealable bag.

Intake of TYCO Deer Mineral will vary according to:

  • The changing of the seasons, and the varying needs of bucks, does, and fawns for antler growth, reproduction, milk production, and body growth.
  • Diet variation, including the stage of maturity of natural browse as well as food plots.
  • Previous level of nutritional supplementation. If animals have not had access to nutritional supplements (not attractants) then they may be nutritionally deficient in several minerals. This may result in higher intake until the deer have restored their body reserves and nutrient level.
  • Expect deer to consume from half to three and a half ounces per day per 100lbs of body weight.

How to feed TYCO Deer Mineral:

  • Mix in to the ground for “natural lick” type of feeding
  • Place into feeders for precise monitoring of intakes.
  • Place on the top of tree stumps – the deer will eventually destroy the stump.

How much to put out:

  • Put out at least five to ten pounds per spot at one time.
  • If you put out smaller amounts, you should check the site more often to ensure the deer have continuous access to the mineral.

Why feed TYCO Deer Mineral:

  • Bigger racks on bigger bucks
  • Better conception rates for does
  • Healthier fawns at birth
  • Overall improvement in herd health (lowers death rates that are the result of nutritional deficiencies)

When to feed TYCO Deer Mineral:

  • Ideally the deer herd should have access to the mineral year round. You will find the greatest consumption occurs from January through July.
  • This late winter and early spring consumption will build up body reserves for antler development, fawn development, and milk production.
